Toxicity in everyday life
There are many other everyday substances that you should avoid if possible during pregnancy. You should avoid exposure to fumes from paints containing solvents used for painting indoor areas and ventilate areas where acrylic paints and adhesives are used. You should let the others go fill up your car engine or at least spend as little time as possible standing by the gas pumps. In most countries, laws protect pregnant women from workplace hazards such as harmful fumes and gases. The usual daily protective measures for handling aggressive cleaning products, pesticides, solvents and agricultural chemicals apply even more during pregnancy.
Additional exposure to a large amount of chemicals from all kinds of areas in the world is particularly important to us. Therefore, minimize your contact with chemicals in daily use as well as much as you can.
Try to use everyday products – cosmetics, cleaning products, detergents and clothes – with certified ecological label/Green Stickers.
